Diamond qualities

What does the different diamond qualities mean?

TW VS, TW Si or W SI?

Color grading

Top Wesselton (TW)

The Top Wesselton stands for the color grade the diamond has. This grade is awarded to especially white diamonds and ranks in the top at the International GIA scale (F-G). The only category higher is river (D-E). Those diamonds are mainly found in rivers instead of mines.

W

Wesselton stands for the color grading H and is next in line after TW. It is near colorless.

Clarity grading

VS

VS stands for the grading of inclusions and VS stands for almost flawless. Under a microscope grading experts notice even the slightest inclusions, but to the naked eye a VS diamond is extremely clear and appears flawless. It is a very fine choice.

SI

SI stands for the grading of inclusions and SI stands for slightly included. Minor small traces exist within SI diamonds but are generally only visible with magnifications to a trained eye. This is a valuable and popular choice.

We are happy to help you with diamonds in higher/lower quality than our standards as well. Contact us for more information.

Care guide

Take care of your jewelry

All our jewelry is made to last a lifetime and be worn daily. We want to help you care for your jewelry in the best possible way and have therefor put together some useful tips for you.

Metal Care

Remove your jewelry before engaging in practical activities, such as yard work, cleaning and exercising. Use your toiletries like hair creams and lotions on your hands and hair before putting on your jewelry. Avoid having your jewelry come in contact with oils and harsh chemicals. Harsh chemicals, such as household cleaners and chlorine can damage your jewelry.

Gold and Platinum are relatively soft materials, they have a hardness of 2.5-3.5 on Mohs hardness scale. Even though they are very sturdy and hard for us they can sustain scratches through daily wear. This is normal and can be removed by a local jeweler.

All textured metals will eventually become daintier on the most worn places of your jewelry. This is a natural part of the metals character as it wears down after long time use. We think this is a part of yours and your jewelry's journey together, however we offer to do a service and maintain the texture.

For thin pieces, please keep in mind that these metals can still be bend out of shape, so wear them with care and remove your pieces when appropriate.

Gemstone Care

We mainly work with gemstones like Diamonds, Sapphires and Rubies. These stones are good stones for everyday wear as they do not scratch easily, but like precious metals, gemstones can also scratch and sometimes break if knocked or dropped in *just* the wrong way. Even diamonds can chip on a very unfortunate occasion. We recommend you check your jewelry every 6-12 months. Stone settings can move and loosen over time with regular wear. If you notice any movement your jewel should be sent to us for inspection.

To safely clean your gemstone jewelry, soak the piece in warm water and brush gently with a soft bristle toothbrush.

Storing

The best way to store your jewelry is in the box that you received it in. There it will be protected from scratches. You can also store it is in a closed jewelry box.

Shipping

All products are shipped with tracking information.

All products will be insured during shipping

Sweden: 1-4 days.

Europe: 3-7 days.

Rest of the world 3-14 days.

See under each product estimated production time. Shipping is calculated from the day it leaves the studio, after production time.

COUNTRIES WE SHIP TO

We aim to ship our jewelry world wide, but there are a few reasons we are not able to ship to every country in the world. In most cases it is due to your country's import regulations. You can refer to FedEx's import regulations guidelines for more information (we cannot ship to countries that prohibit the import of jewellery, for example.)

If you have questions about whether or not we can ship to you, please email us.

STANDARD SHIPPING

We use Postnord for standard shipping within Sweden and DHL Express for standard shipping internationally. For made-to-order items, please allow the time it says on each product page for us to create your piece and then ship it to you. For items under the “Ready to Ship” Page, it will take 2-4 business days to prepare and ship your order unless otherwise stated on the product page. If you are placing an order for a Ready to Ship piece during our holiday closure, it will be shipped upon our return.

We are located in Gothenburg, Sweden.

CUSTOMS AND DUTIES

Depending on each country's customs, they may keep shipments at the border for a few days to process. Please be aware that this may slow down the shipment time. Any brokerage, duties/taxes charged at customs will be the responsibility of the buyer. We kindly ask that you do not email us to inquire about tax/duties invoices from DHL EXPRESS/the post office, as they must be paid by law when you purchase any goods, whether they are from a local retailer or are shipped to you across your border.

Please note that while it’s uncommon for packages to be held at your border agency for inspection, it can happen. Wait times for clearance vary by country and it is out of the courier/post’s control as well as ours. Your border agency is a government-run entity and their laws and wait times are completely unrelated to both us and the courier.

Ring size guide

Ring size guide

Do you need help to find your ring size?

See our guide below to get help to find your size.

There are different ways to easily and quickly determine the correct ring size. The first method is to measure your own ring, the second method is to measure your finger and the last most simplest method is to measure a ring size with a ring meter.

Tips to measure your ring size

  • Do not measure your fingers when they are cold. Then your fingers are smaller. For best result measure you finger a few times during one day, since your fingers are usually bigger in the morning and smaller by the end of the day.
  • It is also not convenient to measure your finger on a very hot summer day
  • If your knuckles are very large, it is best to choose a larger size..
  • Please note the ring size of each hand can be different.
  • If the ring has a stone, it is important to measure the size as exact as possible otherwise the ring will turn.

Measure your own ring to determine your ring size.

Take a well-fitting ring and measure the diameter of the inside of your ring.

If you don't have a well fitted ring to determine the ring size you can measure your finger for the correct size:

Measure your finger to determine your ring size.

  • Use a flexibel measuring tape to measure the circumference of your finger. If you don't have a measuring tape, use a piece of paper or string, no thicker than 0.5 mm, and then measure the length of the paper / string with a ruler. This is the circumference of your finger
  • Use the following ring size converter chart below to determine your ring size. Look at circumference mm.
